Map every border crossing

Write down each planned entry to and departure from Vietnam. A trip to a neighbouring country followed by a return is different from moving between cities within Vietnam. Check the entire itinerary before selecting an option.

Compare the options

A single-entry visa allows one entry; a multiple-entry option supports repeated entries within the approved conditions and validity. Neither option removes the need to follow the dates on the issued document.

Check after approval

Review the approved entry type and dates before departure. Do not assume a requested option was issued without checking the result. Ask the relevant authority about any mismatch before attempting travel.
