Use the correct image
The portrait is a separate upload from the passport information page. Use a recent, clear image that represents your current appearance. Read the official instructions for pose, glasses and image presentation before submission.
Check the file
Use the file format and size limits shown by the current portal. Limits from older guides may differ. Open the final file on your device to check orientation, clarity and whether anything important has been cropped.
Avoid an approval promise
A private document review can identify visible issues but cannot guarantee acceptance by immigration authorities. If you are asked to replace a file, follow the official correction instructions.
